Details:
These eye-catching earrings each feature three small domed discs in varying sizes which have different etched and sometimes hammer beaten patterns on them..
The etches may include a damask pattern, leaves, flowers, handwriting, printed text and more. Each pair of earrings I make will have a different combination of etched pieces.
Each disc has been blackened and then tumbled for long enough to leave only a slight hint of a darker shade to highlight the recessed areas.
The sterling silver discs are suspended on handmade sterling silver ear wires.
This design has been created to make the best use of the left over remnants of sterling silver from various handmade jewellery designs. This helps to ensure that only small scrap pieces are sent for refining, reducing the environmental impact.
