Japanese etch pendant - chrysanthemums
This sterling silver pendant has a beautiful Japanese chrysanthemum design etched into the surface which has then been blackened. The exposed silver has a slightly brushed but still shiny finish. The pendant has a lovely light weight to it.
The pendant is suspended on a deep red silk thread and has a handmade silver clasp and other findings.
Whenever I wear my own version of this pendant I always get a lot of comments from people about it – it’s one of my favourite pieces to wear.
The sterling silver pendant is approximately 5.5cm (2”) long and 1.3cm wide (0.5”). The length of the neckpiece is 43cm (17”).
I can generally change the length and the colour of the silk thread – either contact me or you can include a note when you checkout.
The thread is designed for use with jewellery making and can be washed – and even ironed if required.
Note that I individually handmake all of my jewellery. The item you purchase may differ slightly from that photographed. This is part of the beauty of handmade work – no two pieces are ever identical.
