Victorian etched earrings - handwriting

This pair of Victorian-inspired earrings have been etched with a handwritten text from a young lady’s travel journal. The earrings are made entirely from sterling silver.
The earring panels have been domed and the recessed etched areas have been given a white silver oxide finish. The exposed silver has a brushed but shiny finish.
The panels are each suspended from handmade sterling silver ear wires and will swing freely as the wearer moves.
The earrings are each approximately 3.3cm (1.3”) in overall length including the ear wires. each panel is approximately 1.4cm (0.5”) at its tallest point and 1.1cm (0.4”) at its widest.
