Victorian etched pendant - handwriting

This Victorian-inspired pendant has been etched with handwritten text from a young lady’s travel journal. The pendant is made from sterling silver and features an 14ct gold stylised leaf motif as a highlight (or 14kt if you’re an American!).
The recessed etched text has been given a white silver oxide finish, while the surface of the pendant has a brushed but still shiny finish.
The pendant has been domed and is suspended from a black natural silk necklace with handmade sterling silver clasp findings. The thread is designed for use in jewellery and it can be handwashed and even ironed if required.
The pendant is approximately 2.2cm (0.9”) at its widest point and 2.5cm (1”) at its longest. The necklace is 43cm (17”) in length. The gold leaf is 0.8cm (0.3”) at its widest and 0.6cm (0.2”) at its tallest.
The length and colour of the necklace can generally be changed – just leave a note when you checkout or contact me to check available colours.
