yellow jade on oxidized silver loops earrings
These bright yellow jade gemstone beads contrast beautifully with the oxidised loops they are suspended from.
To create these earrings, three beads have been suspended on a sterling silver loop, which has been soldered closed and hammer beaten to provide a more organic texture. The loop has then been oxidised to a rich black/brown finish.
Each loop has been been hung from a small handmade hoop earwire.
The earrings have a comfortable weight to them and the loops swing freely from the earwires in an eye-catching way.
The loops are each 1.7cm (0.7”) in diameter. The jade beads are approximately 0.4cm (0.15”) in diameter, while the hoop earwires are approximately 1.3cm (0.5”) in diameter.
