Details:
The teardrop shape of this pendant has been cut out by hand from sterling silver which has been etched with an Elizabethan-era inspired pattern. The pendant has been partially domed inwards to give it a curvy shape.
The etched design been gilded using 23ct gold foil (23kt if you're in the US), giving it a bright gold finish, with some silver showing through in places.
The necklace is completed with a sterling silver chain which is finished with handmade sterling silver clasp findings.
The surface of the teardrop pendant has been given a brushed but still bright and shiny surface. The chain has been given a brushed matte finish.
