heart pendant on silk
This heart-shaped pendant has been sawn by hand in sterling silver to leave a delicate flower motif in its centre. The heart has been slightly domed so that it curves away from the body.
The silver has been left with a slightly muted, brushed finish.
The pendant is suspended on deep red natural silk thread, which has been completed with handmade sterling silver findings. The silk is designed for use in jewellery making and can be handwashed and even ironed if required.
The heart is approximately 2.3cm (0.9”) tall and 2cm (0.8”) at its widest point. The silk necklace is approximately 41cm long.
