This chain can be clasped at any point along its length, meaning you can wear it in different ways: as a choker; at its full length; or with the pendant sitting to one side as you might wear a pearl necklace with a fancy clasp.
The intricate arabesque swirl featured this pendant has been cut out by hand from sterling silver and domed outwards.
The arabesque is soldered to a backdrop created from a domed disc of sterling silver which has been etched with a modern circles design.
The the completed pendant has been given a brushed matte finish.
The pendant sits on an entirely handmade sterling silver chain which has graduated link sizes, from small at the ends to larger next to the pendant. Each link has been given a hammer-beaten texture so it sparkles. The chain is finished with a handmade sterling silver shepherd's hook clasp.
Handmade chains are special! Most chains are made by machines in factories, but a handmade chain requires the maker to work on each individual link - a very labour-intensive process which results in something truly unique.
