'Jewellery' vs 'jewelry'
You’ll see that throughout my various web pages I spell this word differently – and you’ll probably wonder if I can’t spell properly! But I really can – honest!
I use a mixture of both the ‘proper’ English spelling of ‘jewellery’ and the US spelling of ‘jewelry’ to help make my pages more findable in search engines, irrespective of which spelling people might use.
However, for all other words I almost always to use the non-US spelling if there is a difference, so ‘colour’, ‘organise’, ‘fibre’ and ‘centre’ are all correct.
