Striking and beautiful ring with freely moving rubies.

This eye-catching sterling silver ring features two beautiful deep pink lab-grown rubies, one larger than the other.

The tube settings for the stones are each secured to the ring shank by a loop at the back. This means that the stones move freely around the ring rather than being fixed in place.

I a version of this ring for myself some time ago and love wearing it and feeling the stones move as I do.

The settings and ring are handmade from sterling silver. The ring had been given an organic-looking hammer-beaten finish.

Why lab-grown stones?

Lab-grown gemstones are identical on a molecular level to their natural counterparts, but they are flawless and beautifully coloured, while also being much lower in cost. Importantly, they also have a very low environmental impact and none of the serious ethical issues that expensive natural gemstones can have.

Ring sizes

Finger sizes vary from one person to the next, so please check your ring size if you are unsure of what it is. I have a re-useable ring sizer available which will give you an accurate size.

You can make a selection from four different sizes (see below). If the size you need is not listed, please choose one of the available sizes, but leave a note when you checkout to indicate the size you'd like to have made instead.

You can use either US (numerical) or UK/Australian (alphabetical) sizing to let me know your size. View a conversion chart.

Important - rings are made to order

Please note that rings are generally made to order, although I do try to keep some already made.

If your size is not in stock, please allow up to 5 days for me to create an item which is made to order. If your order is urgent, please let me know when you checkout and I will do my best to get it made as quickly as possible.

Just the facts:

  • Materials: sterling silver and a lab-grown ruby.
  • Setting size: the larger setting is 7mm (0.3") in diameter, while the smaller one is approximately 5.5mm (0.22").
  • Ring shank size: approximately 2mm (0.08") wide.
  • Ring fitting size: choose from the sizes below or leave a note when you checkout to indicate the size you need.

  • Most of the milled gold and silver I use is recycled rather than newly mined. Learn more about my environment and ethics policies.
  • All of my jewellery is individually handmade, so the item you purchase may vary slightly from the one photographed. This is part of the beauty of handmade work - each piece has its own personality!
